Who am i?

I am a performer, artist, and storyteller who believes the body carries a language older than words—a language woven from rhythm, memory, and soul. Every person is a living archive of culture, a story waiting to be honoured, understood, and shared.

My path began with children—small universes of curiosity and movement—including those who are neurodivergent and disabled. They taught me the body’s quiet magic: its ability to dissolve barriers, awaken empathy, and spark joy. Through music and movement, I found a compass for healing, play, and reconnecting with the inner child we often leave behind.

Shaped by my own experiences of ethnic discrimination, I learned that art is not only expression—it is resistance. A gentle rebellion against exclusion. I create spaces where voices rise without fear, where cultures meet without judgment, and where no one needs permission to be fully seen.

This belief flows through all my work, from intimate workshops to public projects like the EDI Dance Documentary (Color Show), each one rooted in diversity, unity, and care. I see creativity as both sanctuary and spark—a thread strong enough to stitch us back together.
